OVERDRIVE is provided to BRL patrons through Southern Virginia Libraries United Electronically (SOVALUe), a multi-library system consortium which provides more of the content you want when you want it! You will be able to download and read eBooks for free on your PC, Mac computer, tablet, or your dedicated eBook reading device (including Nook, Kindle, and many others). Depending on the title you will also be able to download and listen to audiobooks on your computer or on your portable music device. View the get started guide for Overdrive here.

FREADING offers tens of thousands of eBooks, available anytime, anywhere. There is no download manager and users have simultaneous access to all titles – no wait lists. (Please note: Freading is not compatible with any Kindle except for the Kindle Fire). View the get started guide for Freading here.

ONECLICK DIGITAL allows you to check out downloadable audiobooks and eBooks. The Current collection features classic e-books and e-audiobooks. View the get started guide for OneClick Digital here.

TUMBLEBOOKCLOUD is an online collection of ebooks, enhanced novels, graphic novels, videos and audio books, which offers students and adults of all reading levels access to an amazing range of content.

TUMBLEBOOKS are animated, talking picture books, which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they’ll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music, and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you. View our get started guide for Tumblebooks here.

ZINIO Digital Magazines allows you to enjoy unlimited access to popular magazines, right on your computer or mobile device! These magazines are simultaneous use (meaning you don’t have to wait for someone else to return it!) and, once downloaded, on your device without an expiration date. See a list of available magazines here. View our get started guide for Zinio here.
