Change in Courtland Branch and Waverly Branch Hours:
EFFECTIVE JULY 6, 2009:
Due to a decrease in funding from Southampton County,
the Walter Cecil Rawls Courtland Branch will be closed on Mondays.
EFFECTIVE JULY 11, 2009:
Due to a decrease in funding from Sussex County,
the Agnes Taylor Gray Waverly Branch will be closed on Saturdays. |

Turn to the Library in Tough Times
In May, the number of unemployed persons increased by 787,000 to 14.5 million. (refer to http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htm)
These numbers are staggering, but Blackwater Regional Library is here to do what we can to help. We are creating a list of new job related resources that were recently purchased to help people in the communities that we serve deal with lay offs, cut backs and economic difficulties.
Remember, we always have computers with internet access, free wireless internet, job related resources, and helpful staff to aid you in job searches.
